We are so excited for TFH Conference! Our goal is to equip you and your team with everything we have learned over the last 26 years and to create a space where you encounter the presence of Jesus and in a fresh new way. We hope you leave empowered, refreshed and full of vision ready to accomplish all that God has for you.

Habakkuk 3:2

In this track, we’ll gather as worship pastors, leaders, and teams and learn how to lead our congregations in powerful, presence-driven worship. We’ll discuss excellence, anointing, team-building, and more. Our heart is that this track will help you and your team overcome obstacles that seem to be roadblocks that are limiting your teams - whether lack of volunteers, lack of vision, or whatever is keeping you from getting to the “next level.”
We are going to discuss what it looks like to be a youth pastor in our current culture. We will talk about the philosophy of pastoring young people well, and also break down practically what our youth ministry looks like on the day-to-day here at TFH. Hopefully you leave with fresh vision, and more confidence to help you succeed wherever you are in youth ministry.
We all want to build a strong kids ministry team that reaches the next generation and activates their faith now. Join us as we talk about recruiting, ministry structure, volunteer training and leading your kids into God’s presence. We’re ready to answer your questions on Kids and family ministry.
Special needs ministry doesn’t have to be hard! We’ll show you how simple it can be to make a place for kids with special needs and their families at your church. We’ll talk about training volunteers, meeting specific needs, and starting your own ministry. Join us for a tour of our special needs classrooms and facilities.
We believe all our churches must grow larger and smaller at the same time but how do we maintain the health and culture of our small group ministry as we grow? Regardless of your church or staff size, learn how to develop a culture of health that permeates your group leaders and the people who attend their groups. We will also look at strategies on how to enhance recruitment, ways to equip leaders and establish a strong group culture.
Making the church unavoidable and valuable to your community. How the church in the community became the community's Church. "I am convinced one of the missing elements in many churches across our nation is this simple, yet profound platform that is built when we partner with our city leaders and organizations by serving the needs of the broken and under resourced with no agenda other than to love and serve the people that are in great need" Dave Patterson from his book, "We Love Our City."
This breakout session is designed for lead pastors as Pastor Dave opens up a conversation regarding how to lead the Church forward in the current culture. We will also open the floor and have a “round table discussion” as we talk about the new struggles and challenges facing us all.
As leaders, you will learn practical tips on how to cultivate and create a healthy multisite DNA that reflects the Heart of the House in any location. From the parking lot to the altar call we will discuss the “secret sauce” of how to be a multi-campus church that develops other campus’ that “feel” like the main campus. Learn from campus pastors who have successfully launched set up and tear down campus’ in a mobile environment yet maintained the vision of the lead pastor.
Powerful Intercession is one of the main ingredients for the health and success of the local church. From altar ministry to all-church prayer, to teams tasked with targeted prayer for leaders and pastors and beyond; it is an investment that reaps huge and eternal benefits. This breakout will provide guidance on how to take your church’s intercession to the next level. We want to share what we have learned about raising and stewarding a powerful army of Intercessors.
This session/workshop is for Lead Pastors and anyone on the team responsible for church business. Some areas/topics to be covered are: Donor Development, Church Government, Expansion/Building/Construction, Finances, Human Resources/Staff Issues, Insurance and Risk Management, Legal Challenges, and Relationship with the Executive Pastor. The goal of this session is to address everyone’s questions. The format will be a brief dump of information followed by Q&A with a discussion.
In the Production track, we will come together in a roundtable format as production teams from all churches represented. The environments that Audio, Video, and Lighting create are the environments God uses to encounter people who are far from Him. You’ll converse with TFH’s Production directors as we share the valuable lessons learned over the years and how to build systems, teams, and relationships with church leadership to create the best possible atmospheres for people to meet with God.
Your church is doing great things! But how do your guests REALLY see your church? In addition, if you were to ask your “guest experience” team what THEIR job is — what would they say? Jess Flower, the Director of Guest Services for TFH is ready to give some insights directly from the Disney Institute of Training for Guest Experience and share how they helped established a new culture of guest experience at TFH!
In the Creative track, we will discuss the journey of bringing stories to life through Print, Social Media, Film and more. One of the inspiring things about church is that it is full of people from all walks of life. God uses the Creative Team to take one person’s story, in many forms, and connect it to someone that will be impacted for Him. Come be a part of the conversation, ask questions and hear from our team. Let’s build teams that tell stories that matter.
Giving Campaigns are easy right? Isn't it just an ask and receive? Often you hear the results of a successful campaign, and it sounds so simple, so miraculous, so spiritual, so simple, such a God moment. What gets lost in the celebration is the backstory, the backdrop, the curating, the human part that ushered in the breakthrough results. In this session learn to avoid the missteps and miscues and discover what successful campaigns do, so that God can move in, move upon, and move through His people to resource vision and ministry!
